Pro-Sim H-Pattern Shifter

In collaboration with the esteemed Quaife Engineering, Pro-Sim has crafted the ultimate H-pattern shifter for simulators. Recognising a need in the market for an H-pattern shifter that authentically replicates the feel of driving a real car, They aimed to deliver an experience beyond mere button pressing on a lever.

Their H-pattern design is exceptionally robust, built to withstand rigorous use without the worry of breakage. Featuring an 8-speed configuration with 6 forward gears and two additional reverse gears situated beyond the reverse interlock on the gear lever, users can seamlessly shift between reverse forward or backward by pushing the lever down and across to the left.

The tactile sensation of their shifter mirrors that of a genuine car, with selector rods visible behind the Perspex cover, mimicking a real gearbox's engagement. Derived directly from a production Quaife H-pattern gearbox, their design diverges from conventional shifters on the market by relying on selector rods and a centralisation device, rather than a top gate plate.

Specifications

The shifter is fully customizable, allowing users to adjust the force of centering and gate traversal effortlessly. The pivot point of the gear lever is also adjustable, enabling users to modify the throw between gears without altering the lever's length. The shifter comes with a standard short gear lever akin to that found on a Caterham. With the shaft extension, users can increase height by an additional 150mm, adjustable by 70mm to suit individual preferences. A USB B socket on the back facilitates direct connection to your PC, and a high-quality 2m USB A to B cable is included.
