ENGINEERING
Crafted with precision engineering, the structural parts are CNC precision laser-cut stainless steel with a glass bead-blasted finish, ensuring strength, stiffness, and durability. Mathematical models guide the design, optimizing pedal travel and operation force for an authentic feel in various configurations. All key pivot points boast slide bearings, undergoing automated durability testing to guarantee functionality after a million duty cycles.
Custom-made brake elastomers offer a realistic progressive feel, maintaining their characteristics even after extensive use. The hydraulic dampers are ultra-reliable, requiring minimal maintenance and ensuring continued functionality even if a failure occurs.
SENSORS & OUTPUT
The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ load cell assemblies provide accurate linear input measurement for throttle, clutch position, and brake force. Unmatched in accuracy and durability, these load cells do not wear over time. The proprietary electronics deliver a full-range 12-bit output for each pedal, allowing custom configuration of output curves through the Heusinkveld SmartControl software.
COMPONENTS
Throttle: Smooth, accurate, and adjustable, the throttle pedal offers precise control with customizable travel, spring preload, and resistance. A 1-way hydraulic damper provides resistance during the ingoing stroke, enhancing throttle application. A load cell ensures a linear input measurement, with customizable non-linear output curves through the SmartControl software.
Brake: Featuring a dual-stage brake system with a 200kg load cell, the brake pedal handles actual forces up to 140kg. Custom-made injection-molded thermoset elastomers provide a progressive brake resistance akin to real race cars. With a 2-way hydraulic damper, adjustable damping resists speed during the ingoing and outgoing strokes.
Electronics: Utilizing a custom-made 12-bit USB controller, the Sim Pedals Ultimate+ work seamlessly with the Heusinkveld SmartControl software, providing instant and accurate output to your simulator. The steel controller enclosure is equipped with four mounting holes for easy installation.
